Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex

Dallas–Fort Worth is home base. Most of our work is here, and our trucks, loaders and saws are based in the Metroplex, so DFW sites get the shortest mobilization and the most scheduling flexibility. The region's commercial building stock covers everything we do: tilt-wall distribution buildings whose panel joints need sealant replacement, parking fields and truck courts built in concrete panels, older brick buildings with below-grade walls, and amenity-heavy multifamily properties with pool decks and miles of sidewalk.

Regional conditions

What North Texas does to concrete

01

Expansive clay

Much of the Metroplex sits on Blackland Prairie clays that swell when wet and shrink when dry. That movement shows up as cracked and displaced pavement panels, opened joints and stressed foundation walls, so sealed joints and sound base support matter more here than in most regions.

02

Heat, then hard freezes

Summer surface temperatures on exposed concrete run far above the air temperature, and North Texas also gets occasional hard freezes, such as the February 2021 winter storm. Sealant joints have to handle that whole range of movement.

03

A large tilt-wall and logistics inventory

The region's distribution corridors are lined with tilt-wall buildings and truck courts. Panel joint sealants and pavement joints on these properties reach the end of their service life on predictable cycles.

DFW questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you work outside the cities listed?
Often, yes. Most of the DFW Metroplex is within our normal range. Send the site address on WhatsApp and we'll confirm.
How do Austin and San Antonio projects work?
Our crews and equipment are based in DFW, so Central and South Texas projects are planned as a scheduled mobilization. Combining several properties into one trip lowers the travel cost.
